Belgische Finanzmarktaufsicht warnt vor Goldwater Global Management

Warning against Goldwater Global Management / Belgian Financial Services Agency / Belgian Commodities and Futures Exchange

The Financial Services and Markets Authority (FSMA) warns the public against the activities of Goldwater Global Management, a company that claims to offer investment services.

The FSMA also warns against the activities of the ‘Belgian Financial Services Agency’ and the ‘Belgian Commodities and Futures Exchange’, which improperly claim to be a Belgian financial supervisor and a Belgian stock exchange respectively.

Goldwater Global Management is not an authorized investment firm in Belgium. It is therefore not allowed to provide investment services in or from within Belgium.

The FSMA thus advises against responding to any offers of financial service made by Goldwater Global Management and against transferring money to any account number they might mention.

Goldwater Global Management claims to be established at “134 - 136 Avenue des Vaillants 12, Brussel”.

In its communications, Goldwater Global Management refers to the Belgian Financial Services Agency and the Belgian Commodities and Futures Exchange.

The Belgian Financial Services Agency improperly presents itself as a Belgian financial supervisor. The Belgian Commodities and Futures Exchange improperly presents itself as a Belgian stock exchange. They use the websites www.belgianfsa.org and www.bcfex.com respectively.

These institutions appear to be used as a cover to give the impression that investments offered to the public by persons who do not have the necessary authorization are reliable. The FSMA warns against investments offered to the public by companies that claim to be recognized by the Belgian Financial Services Agency and/or the Belgian Commodities and Futures Exchange.
