CBFA warns against Dragon Partners Inc.
The Banking, Finance and Insurance Commission (CBFA) warns the public against the activities of Dragon Partners Inc. (www.dragonptscn.com) and Platinum Group International, which are contacting Belgian investors with a view to offering investment services. There appears to be a connection between these two companies.
Dragon Partners Inc. claims to be a firm with its registered office in China at 2 Jian Guo Men Wai Ave, 18, Beijing. It does not have the authorization in Belgium necessary to offer investment services in or from Belgium.
Platinum Group International claims to be a firm with its registered office in the United States at 410 Park Avenue, 15th floor, New York 10022. It does not have the authorization in Belgium necessary to offer investment services in or from Belgium.
The CBFA thus advises the public against responding to any offers of investment services made in the name of Dragon Partners Inc. or Platinum Group International, and against transferring money to any account number they might mention.
Anyone wishing more generally to enquire as to the regularity of any transaction proposed can find further information on the “Consumer Protection” page of the CBFA web site (www.cbfa.be) or by contacting the “Protection of Consumers of Financial Services” Department (telephone: +32 2 220 59 10; email address: peri@cbfa.be).
