Die FInanzdienstleistungsbehörde von Gibraltar, die Finacial Services Commission warnt vor dem angeblichen "Broker" James B Clarke & Company Limited ('JBC'). Die Behörde führt hierzu wie folgt aus:
The Financial Services Commission ('FSC') has today issued a warning to the public regarding James B Clarke & Company Limited.
This follows information received by the FSC, concerning a website operated by 'James B. Clarke & Co. Ltd', on which it claims to be "a leading international securities brokerage and investment services firm with one of the largest global networks in the world".
It further claims to have "Worldwide Offices" including Gibraltar. The link to the 'Gibraltar' office only shows a contact form, with no contact details.
The register of companies at Companies House (Gibraltar) shows that a company named James B Clarke & Company Limited was incorporated in May of this year.
It is not regulated by the FSC, or licensed under the Financial Services (Investment & Fiduciary Services) Act 1989, or the Financial Services (Markets in Financial Instruments) Act 2006, to carry on investment business in or from within Gibraltar.
The FSC therefore urges the public to exercise appropriate caution in respect of this entity, whilst it continues its investigations.
